You could save lots of money if you knew this one fact about ISO 9001:2015

If you have been certified and completed a full system audit without too many issues, there are two good reasons to outsource the management of your Quality Management System or QMS for short.

If your business falls into this category, first I want to say congrats for a job well done!  The first reason is that maintenance of your system is now a much easier job than before. You can outsource the QMS management without too much risk and free up your current team to do more value added work.  The work that gives the most payback is development or improvement activities that reduce your running costs or allows you to bring in more business!

Often, the Quality team is best positioned to lead improvement activities of your operations as they are most familiar with the overall business.  Also, they are often equipped with the quality assurance tools to expose areas of improvement.

The second good reason is cost savings.  By outsourcing the management of your QMS, you don’t need a dedicated quality management team.  If you have a quality control team it can now be part of your operations team, without any conflicts of interest.  Their work will be audited along with the rest of the operations by the outsourced QMS management team.  Furthermore, by doing cross-training you can adjust the ratio of QC to Operations in your team accordingly to match the requirements or changing conditions.

All this is possible because ISO 9001:2015 removed the need for a management representative, so you can streamline your operations.

So, how do you start enjoying all these benefits?  First, get in touch with us so we can do a one day audit.  This is for us to ensure that our QMS management has a good fit with your business.  Before we start, we will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect both our interests.   Did I tell you that the audit is complementary and there are no obligations?

We will provide you with a short audit report letting you know how we found your QMS and if it is suitable for outsourcing.  Ideally we would meet up with your and your team to do a short review.  If we are both agreeable, you can make a request for proposal (RFP) to our team.

We will work with you to provide you with a project proposal outlining how we will help your team with your QMS management.  It will contain a Statement of Work (SOW) that details out the activities, timeline, resources and costs that are involved.

And if you and your team are happy with the proposal, we will proceed upon acceptance of the quotation to kickoff the project.
